Why should I carry an Emergency Medical Card and where can I get one?

The rescue services strongly recommend that all walkers carry an emergency medical card.  For more information and how to get a card follow this link

What about Insurance?
The club has insurance in line with the recommendations of the
Ulster Federation of Rambling Clubs. On 5 December 2012 the UFRC issued a useful statement about the nature of the Insurance it offers to affiliated Clubs.   Click here to see the UFRC statement.

How long do walks last?

Depart Leisure Centre 09.30
Walking:  4 -10 miles in 3 - 5 hours depending upon conditions

Who lead the walks?
Experienced club members.

What about transport
Car sharing - arranged at point of departure.  

How much does membership cost?
Individual members - 20.00 pounds stg per annum

When are fees due?
In November at the AGM or as soon as possible therafter.
